Team 34 Extra Verses

Below is the list for the second 7 weeks. Must be WORD PERFECT to receive credit!

February 24 - Acts 1:7-8

"He said to them: 'It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.'"

March 3 - Leviticus 22:31-33

"Keep my commands and follow them. I am the LORD. Do not profane my holy name. I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the LORD, who makes you holy and who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD."

March 10 - Matthew 26:39-40

"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.' Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. 'Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?' he asked Peter."

March 24 - Acts 2:40-41

"With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, 'Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.' Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day."

Match 31 - Luke 9:46-48

"An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had him stand beside him. Then he said to them, 'Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For he who is least among you all—he is the greatest.'"

April 7 - Acts 7:59-60

"While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.' Then he fell on his knees and cried out, 'Lord, do not hold this sin against them.' When he had said this, he fell asleep."

April 14 - Proverbs 6:16-19

"There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."

April 21 - Hebrews 10:24-25

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Puggles (2 Year-Olds)

To participate in Puggles, a child MUST:

- Be 2 years old by September 1

- Have a parent or guardian ON CAMPUS for the duration of AWANA on Wednesday nights

Puggles is an enriching program for pre-Cubbies kids that presents basic biblical concepts. It teaches toddlers simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music and more. Parents can step in to reinforce the lessons with take-home cards that include ideas to point out God's work each day.

Cubbies (3- and 4-year-Olds)

To participate in Cubbies, a child MUST:
- Be 3-5 years old by September 1
- Have a parent or guardian ON CAMPUS for the duration of AWANA on Wednesday nights

The Cubbies curriculum features two handbook written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. Before starting a handbook, newcomers to Cubbies are taken through an introductory brochure that gives parents and children a brief overview of the program and presents God's plan of salvation at the preschooler's level. In addition, all memory verses are presented at a level appropriate for 3- and 4-year-olds.

Sparks (K-2nd)

The AWANA club for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade builds on the material taught in our preschool clubs. The curriculum takes kids a step deeper into God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. After being immersed in solid foundational teaching at the preschool level, boys and girls frequently come to an understanding of their need to trust Christ as their personal Savior while in Sparks.

Team 34 (3rd-4th)

The basis of the Team 34 ministry is to help empower kids to live out Proverbs 3:4, "Earn a reputation for living well in God's eyes and the eyes of people." (Message) We accomplish this through weekly Scripture memorization, discipleship and accountability.

Trek (5th-6TH)

Trek is part of our new JJ56 5th and 6th grade ministry. It is a two year curriculum that answers preteen's biggest questions about God and the Bible. Trek takes the real questions from real kids and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way.
