Seeking God's Man

How you can pray for our pastor search process and for our church family

• Pray that this transitional search period will be a time that our church family learns to seek God Himself more than just a new man to lead us and that we will draw closer to Jesus, trusting Him as the true Head of the Church.

• Pray for a powerful move of deep healing, cleansing and renewal for our church family.

• Pray for faithfulness and focus on the present ministry of our church and that we will be protected from any spirit of lukewarmness or losing our first love.

• Pray for a miraculous sense of love and unity among the members of our church and that we will surrender all bitterness, division and anger, and will love each other with a patient, forbearing love.

• Pray that we will be prepared to make the necessary changes to embrace a new day of ministry and that we will grow with graciousness and unity.

• Finally, pray that we will patiently wait God's timing and settle for nothing less than His perfect will. Ask God for His mercy in giving us a true man of God and a great leader.

An Update from Our Pastor Search Committee

We are now focusing on just two candidates. At this time, we are involved in extensive interviewing as well as deep background and reference checks. This process is very delicate because we have become involved in the lives of these men and their families and it is so important that we protect the confidentiality of each for the benefit of their current individual ministries and for the integrity of NBBC. We ask that you pray specifically for our discernment about each candidate and for these men as they too seek God's will for their lives. We are so excited to continue to move forward into this final phase and are so thankful for all of your continued patience as we trust the Lord to direct our steps!
