OUR MISSION
At New Beginnings, we respond to God’s call in James 1:27 by embracing the needs of vulnerable children and families in crisis. Through our Foster and Adoption Ministry, we walk alongside those who are fostering, pursuing adoption, or working toward family reunification. Whether supporting children in care, birth families, or forever families, we believe every story matters and every step deserves to be covered in the love, presence, and restoring power of Jesus.
EMBRACING CHILDREN IN NEED
by partnering with Child Placement Agencies and multiple orgaizations to help children find loving, caring homes while in foster care. We want them to know that God sees them and cares for them.
EMBRACING FAMILIES IN CRISIS
by partnering with DFPS and their FBSS division to help families in crisis in hopes of keeping their families intact. For those parents whose children are in foster care and they are working their service plan, we offer Biological parents, court approved, parenting classes that are Biblically based, so that their children are returning to a different home if they can be reunified.

Respite Nights
Whether you're a foster, adoptive, kinship, or bio parent, we know how much you pour into your kids—and we’re here to support you. Respite Nights are designed just for you! We provide dinner and a full lineup of fun, age-appropriate activities for children from birth through junior high (and we’re happy to make arrangements for older kids, too). While they’re having a blast, you get a few hours to rest, recharge, and take a deep breath. You deserve it.

Connected Families
Parents want to raise respectful, responsible, faith-filled kids, but sometimes the message we intend to send through discipline isn’t the message our kids receive. While we often focus on behavior, God looks at the heart.
The Connected Families framework helps parents bring the Gospel into everyday discipline by communicating four powerful truths, even when kids are at their worst: You are Safe with me. You are Loved no matter what. You are Capable of wise choices. You are Responsible to make things right.
This Gospel-centered approach helps bring reconciliation and restoration into our homes while allowing the Holy Spirit to shape the way we parent. For more information, email Yolonda Robinett at yrobinett@nbbctx.org.

Support Group
Foster, adoptive, and kinship parenting comes with unique joys and challenges, and you don’t have to navigate them alone.
Join our Support Group for Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship Parents as we build community, encourage one another, and invite the Holy Spirit into every part of the parenting journey. During the first eight weeks, we’ll walk through Connected Families’ Discipline That Connects class, learning how to move beyond behavior modification and pursue lasting heart change.
Each gathering will include time for discussion, prayer, and encouragement as we grow together.
